We started GEL Cattle Ranch because we wanted to preserve a part of American life worth keeping: the land, the work, and the tradition of raising cattle.

As first-time ranchers, we began by raising beef for our own family. When others tried it and asked for more, that simple idea grew into sharing our beef with other households.

Today, our family raises Aberdeen Angus cross cattle on pasture in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee. We finish our beef cattle on grain and work our herd on horseback. We are a small, family-owned ranch, and our beef is offered in limited supply.
